Overseas Visitors Wishing to Marry in Australia
Regardless of nationality you are more than welcome to be married in the most beautiful country in the world, Australia.
Obviously, the marriage must comply with the Marriage Act, 1961 as previously described. There is no apparent reason why your marriage in Australia cannot be recognised within your own country, however it is advisable to talk to your own local authorities to confirm this before making arrangements.
It is important to remember that there can only be one legal marriage, any further ceremonies have to be Marriage Re-Affirmation Ceremonies.
I would be very pleased to assist you in arranging your special day in a special country. With the modern means of communications today this process is very simple and can be done from a distance without any heartache at all.
Dom & Nat travelled from Edinburgh, Scotland for this special occasion. There may have only been a few people present but the atmophere was electric with excitement. The ceremony took place at Copes Look-Out at Kirribilli overlooking the magnificent Sydney Harbour. It may have been a long way from home for Dom and Nat but it was an occasion that they will remember for ever. |

Sibanda & Nyoni are in Australia working as nurses. They are from Zimbabwe and although enjoying this beautiful country miss their homeland. They exchanged their vows in front of some very excited friends and celebrated in the only way they know how, singing in beautiful harmony. |

Mark & Jennifer all the way from beautiful Wales (who said I was biased) exchanged their vows in the Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney in front of many family and friends who had travelled all the way from Wales for this special occasion. The weather was first class - all I can say is thank God for that or we would never have heard the last of it. Mark and Jennifer were thrilled with their day and I was delighted to have been a part of it. |

Anton & Viktoriya are from Russia and they chose to marry high above the Camden countryside in a Hot Air Balloon from Balloon Aloft. Neither had ever been up before and their marriage ceremony was not only special as far as marriage goes but was a wonderful experience too. They are now settled in Sydney. |
Who said Sydney wasn't a great place to marry? There are many locations around Sydney that would melt you with excitement. However, why travel across the world without marrying with the magnificent Sydney harbour and Opera House somewhere in those pictures. Talk to me about your special day here in Sydney, you will never regret it. |
